Chilling images from inside the badly burned house in which five people perished in the early hours of Thursday morning have provided the first glimpse of their desperate last moments.
Charred belongings and blackened walls speak to the terror of being trapped as flames and acrid smoke engulfed the home. The family members unable to escape due to locked gates and thick burglar guards.
Four members of the Munjra family, including two children, as well as a tenant on the property perished in the blaze.
The house in Larch Road, Willowton, now an official crime scene after police confirmed they are investigating arson and five counts of murder, has drawn a steady stream of onlookers to the macabre scene.
Despite being an official crime scene and subject to a high-level investigation, it appears that there is little control of who has access to the property with Public Eye reporters observing people freely entering and wandering around the house.
The Munjra family was laid to rest on Thursday evening while the funeral of the tenant is yet to be confirmed.
