We are ready to govern SA, says EFF KZN leader

Newly elected Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) KwaZulu-Natal chairperson Vusi Khoza said they are ready to govern South Africa and will capitalise on the positive response from young people in tertiary institutions to mount an elections campaign for next year’s elections. He was speaking after getting elected as provincial chairperson at the elective conference held in Pietermaritzburg over the weekend.
The conference was opened by EFF Deputy President Floyd Shivambu who told party delegates at the YMCA that they were looking at becoming the second biggest political party in the country. He said further that they were looking at using KZN as the launch pad for the campaign.“The EFF has got collective capacity to provide decisive leadership to the people of South Africa,” said Shivambu in calling on the rank and file to mobilise party support ahead of the poll. KwaZulu-Natal, Shivambu added, had the largest membership in the country and they were looking at this to help change the political landscape in South Africa. “KZN is a strategic point for us to make a decisive shift in politics and our members should be ready to go to every part of the province to spread the EFF message,” said Shivambu. Pietermaritzburg’s Pearl Harris was elected as deputy provincial secretary.
