The muslim girl scouts took to the streets of Pietermaritzburg in their quest to learn more about our beautiful city

Learners of Honey-bears planted pumpkin seeds among others in the garden at the school and saw their seeds burst into life and become little plants, their efforts were rewarded and on Valentine’s Day when six huge pumpkins were cut from the learner’s garden

City schools off to a good start

Lots of love, attention and exciting games were part of package for every grade R and grade one teacher yesterday that welcomed new pupils in their respective classes.

Local high schools recently held their matric balls and saw pupils bring out the glitz, glam, ball gowns and cars to dazzle their dates.

Warming up the kids

Woodlands Primary school pupils were the recent recipients of the knitted scarves. These were handed to them by members of the Tu Ce Bon Senior Citizens Club that undertook a winter drive to provide the children with warm scarves for winter.

Mr Orient Heights

Deshay Reddy, 5, was chosen as Mr Orient Heights at the Orient Heights Primary School’s annual pre-school sports.
